SOOQA is an editorial design project, inspired by the bitch magazine, which unfortunately went out of business earlier this year. I decided to put the hot feminist issues into SOOQA, make it really capture the attention and even cause anger by using a loud colour palette, warning elements and exaggeratedly schematic front cover illustration, which was inspired by “The Handmaid’s Tale“.

Furthermore, SOOQA is a weird transliteration of the word suka, which means “bitch“ in my language.
